Ok so I have this thing about totally locking the trunk up even to the point of removing the cable that runs to the trunk release up front...you can thank chickens**t thieves for this..

I Read the manual and there is a master trunk lock switch in the glovebox in addtion to the lock on the driver side with the gas door release....

Supposedly this master switch will disable the trunk release pull...i tried it but never works?? like the switch did nothing..

the only way to lock was turning the lock with the key no matter which way the switch was in the glove box...???

 

The switch in the glove box deactivates the push button on the trunk (key fob trunk release will still work); does not deactivate the manual pull handle on the drivers side.
