Hello Gurus,

I'd really appreciate your expert opinions on whether I should consider getting a new Acura sooner than later.
In essence, I'd like to know what the fixed trouble code PO847 may lead to in the near future.

Here is the situation.

Transmission Issue:
After my 2008 Acura TSX 's "Check Transmission" warning sign was up and the green D - drive mode light was blinking yesterday, I did not notice any transmission related failure symptoms, my mechanic shop has done the diagnostic evaluation and the fix today. I plan to ask the mechanic a few follow up questions tomorrow since I didn't get a chance for it today.

Transmission Diagnostic:
Found 1 trouble code #PO847 3rd clutch transmission fluid pressure switch short or stuck. Perform service bay tests as per PO847 code.
ATF Pressure SW.
Transmission Fluid
Replace transmission fluid pressure
Switch and fluid. Clear trouble code and test drive.

I had a similar issue, turned off car and restarted, no code or issue remained.

been fine for over 1 month now.

was the switch inside or outside of the tranny ?
