I was checking out my engine today and noticed this.

This pic was taken between the battery and my intake, its on the transmission housing. I'm wondering if the rubber thing should be connected to the metal thing.

Could someone take a look at their TSX and let me know if there suppose to be connected or if everyones is like that.

No, it's not meant to be connected. That is the vent breather.
