Trans Maintenance question

I'm buying a 2008 tsx on Tuesday for $6000 with 170k miles on it and it drives good and doesn't have any issues. I also got an extended warranty.
Few question about the maintenance

1. Change trans fluid ever 15k miles good?

2. Does it have pressure switches on the trans that should be changed regularly like the TLs?

3. is there an external trans cooler and/or filter?

im coming out of a 2ng gen TL and an comparing the maintenance on those

The TSX trans is MUCH more solid than the V6 Accord/TL trans. I don't believe there were any pressure switch issues with the TSX trans.

People do trans drain/refills every 15-30K, it seems.

^1st gen TSX only has a 4 cylinder.

while, there may not be any associated problems with the TSX tranny, you are buying a used car. when buying a used car, all bets are off!!!! cuz it truely depends on how previous owner treated the car.
with that being said; you have a great habit of 15k tranny fluid drain and fills.

15K Tranny flush is a little early but if you want to baby the car sure why not.

Maintenance wise at 170k, the coolant hoses and brake master cylinder. Other than that, you shouldn't have any issues and should be good for another decade.

I've changed my 5AT fluid every 30,000 miles and I have now have 135,000 miles on her now. Never had an issue with the 5AT with my 06. Not sure if you new to Honda/Acura; but, you cannot do a 100% flush of the 5AT. You can't use any type of AT fluid that is on sale this week. Acura recommends using their fluid and doing a 3X drain/fill (drain AT fluid in pan, replace pan, refill, drive, and drain again to replace AT fluid 2X more times).
