Hey everyone. I've owned two TSXs in my life, but I've never changed the trans fluid. My question is, can I use Castrol transmax import or do I have to use Honda fluid Thanks in advance

 

Yes, you can use any ATF that meets GM Dexron VI.

 

My dealership does a 1X drain/refill for around $100 or 3X drain/drive/refill for $300. Honda/Acura transmission don't like any type of "flush" or anything that replaces 100% of the AT fluid if you decide on chain or local shop.

 

100% ATF exchanges (drain and fill) are best for any trans because it remove almost all of the contaminants from the trans and replenishes the trans with vital new ATF. There is no down side to a 100% ATF exchange.
