Trading TSX w/mod

I have a 2004 TSX with a 2006 TSX front bumper. Will this modification lower the value of the car?

It depends on the dealer. They may do a simple walk around inspection and not even notice the different bumper. However, some may regard it as an improper repair after an accident and ding you for it.

I bet they wouldn't even know if you didn't tell them.

If you want to get the most money, trading your car at a dealership is the dumbest thing you can do. The replaced bumper is just a minor talking point.

It is crazy trading it in at the dealer but I don't want to deal with all the buyers that want to test drive the car and just low ball me like the dealers. If i'm gonna get low balled then might as well do it at the dealers. I've already had a few offers that wanted to trade their car with extra cash, anyway turned it down. Wasn't the car i was looking for.

I posted a car for sale on Craigslist and the first person to show interest in it took it for a test drive and then offered to buy it that very moment. He didn't even haggle the price at all.

If you don't want to haggle the price, then I suggest splitting the difference between the dealer trade in price and the private party price. People will know it is a good deal and snatch it right up without haggling and you will still get more money than if you traded it in.
