Totalled TSX payout...and goodbye
well for the people that don't know. my car got stolen about 3 weeks ago. anywayz i never got to see the car as it was took to the insurance tow yard in the east bay somewhere.

well i totally got scewed on this deal. people that say i should have gotten GAP...i hate you lol...anywayz. its a learning process.
nothing i can do though. i still haven't seen the car and obviously won't ever see it.
payout is $24,992 plus license fees that were paid would come out to roughly $25,200.
we owe $20,400. so i get about $4800. which equals to $5200 i lost! blah.
anywayz im not waiting for another red TSX and as i got to experience the high car payment and the price tag of an expensive car ive decided to go with an RSX this time around.
and no im not getting an 05' RSX CIVIC. haha.
they got one red 04' TYPE S in at the dealer i bought my TSX so im getting an awesome deal. less than $21k for it. im pretty excited. as im a jdm whore, im sure going to have fun with this car.

i guess im trying to say...good-bye. thanks for everything. this site is awesome. i will still come back, as i do with the integra sites i still visit. hope i haven't pissed anyone off. ya am only 17 but i know the value of money. i work my shit. this just shows how somethings aren't meant to be i guess. but im sure ill have tons of fun with the DC5!

well we've decided to fight it. trade in is $24,850, private party is $27,680 and retail is $30,650 so were goin after them.
oh and were were told the car rolled 6-8 times and every piece of glass is shattered.

if you didnt sign the car over to the insurance co it is still your/banks property.did they cover the mods you did?you should get fair market value, 24k sounds low even for the US.

I hope you can get more money man....Take everyone's advice and get as much as you can back. You'll need $$$ for mods for your RSX !! Lots of mods out for the RSX !!

yup...my parents and i went to look at the car and they won't let me get it. they keep saying .... besides...i already bought my new baby! pick it up on Saturday. got it for $28,900 out the door. haha...and thats with navi. im not in need of any of the features for the 2005 TSX. i already know where every button is on the steering wheel and XM doesn't have the music i like. and i saved like $3k!
