TL Crash Test, TSX Tommorrow !!!

From TOV
"Jeff - you don't know me, but I am a Honda nut and
frequent visitor to TOV. I live in Charlottesville,
VA, which is just down the road from the Insurance
Institute for Highway Safety. Anyway, I went to the
high-speed crash of the TL this morning and snapped a
few pictures...and thought maybe about sharing them
with TOV readers. Overall, the TL did well. There
appeared to be good energy absorption up front, and
deformation of the occupant compartment was minimal.
I didn't stick around to see the dummy sensor data,
but that will be released with their evaluation
sometime soon.'

Those are wonderful pix, so to speak.
This will be very curious is the TSX's results turn out differently.
I wouldn't expect them to out worse unless Honda cut corners...

Me too, especially since the euro accord didn't do awesome.

Be sure to watch Dateline on NBC for "Consumer Alert" w/ Lea Thompson on the latest IIHS crash tests.
Someone keep an eye out on which day they will show the latest rounds of crash tests. Either Tuesdays, Fridays, or Sundays is when NBC shows Dateline.
I wonder what other cars they tested this round besides the TL and TSX.

According to Hondanews.com the TSX will get a 4 star SINCAP side impact rating.
Can't find where that's said on hondanews.com.
All of these technologies were designed to provide Acura TSX passengers with these projected ratings from the U.S. government:
- Front NCAP 55 km/h = 5 Star
- Offset IIHS 64 km/h = Good
- Side impact 62 km/h (SINCAP) = 4 Star
