tire rotation
tire rotation
the wear on my front passanger tire is pretty bad from some hard right hand cornering. i was wondering if the tires can be cross rotated... instead of the front tires moving to the rear, can you move the front right to the rear left?

Seriously though, they are not directionnal tires, so you can rotate them the way you want. I found that I'm wearing the driver's front tire the quickest so I have had to rotate from front left to back right and vice versa. Now my front left is about as worn as my back right, so I'll do a front left to back left swap, since my back left is the one that has most wear.
Anyways I'll have to change tires soon, they're starting to look like F1 tires with just 4 longitudinal grooves and nothing else. Not that effective anymore in water, though still not as bad as I would've thought it to be,but sometimes VSA kicks in a little sooner now. I should be changing tires at the latest by end of August. If I get a total of 80,000km out of them I should be pretty happy.
Probably going for Pilot Sports next, as long as they don't wear out much quicker than those. I'd like to experience the feel of those edgier tires.
The left side of the front should goto the back left of the car, while the back left goes to the front right, and the front right should goto the back right of the car, while the back right goes to the front left.
