Tips of driving a stick on twisty roads

I searched and waited, but I haven't found a good thread relating to this topic. I kept reading how it was a blast taking the twisty roads with the TSX, but what are some of the techniques and tips to use and follow. I am sure it is more than rev high and smooth shifting. Yes, I am still a relatively n-o-o-b in driving MT cars and not confident enough to apply the heel-toe technique. Any suggestion is appreciated.

As you've recognized, its best to practice 'heel toe' where you have room for a mistake, you wouldn't want to miss a braking point because your foot slipped off the pedal.

Unless you can be very smooth, don't up or down shift in the corners.

Keep both hands on the wheel untill its time to shift.

Use the dead pedal to keep you in your seat.

Once you've got the hang of heel toe, even sprited twisty road driving is much more satisfying.

If you wanna take the car on a twisty road, I recommend doing a sweep run first to make sure nothing has changed (construction, road debris, school children). Then do your pass, keep it under control, there's no place for 10/10ths on public roads.
