Tint law repealed in Georgia?
Hmm... i was looking up legal limit tint laws in Georgia. Check out this link. It's from the Georgia state Gov. website.
http://www.legis.state.ga.us/legis/2...ltext/hb20.htm
I was dissappointed that we could only go to 35% but then section 3 seems to say that "all tint laws are repealed"
Am i right in assuming that there are no tint laws then????
So i can get 20%?
Can someone please help me verify?

You are correct
You are very correct in what you read. However I wouldnt get your hopes up just yet. Its not expected to stay that way forever (or for too long for that matter). From what I understand there will be a new law regarding tinting coming at some point. Just when that some point is, dont know.

I had the tint done at a legal shop, however I have no receipt for the work that was performed. Since I have lighter colored interior (quartz) it doesn't look as dark as it would if I had black interior.
Most of the time the cops won't bother you for tint. I have only been pulled over once for tint and that was back when I had my 1990 Ford Thunderbird SC. It had 20% on the front windows and 5% everywhere else. It was dark, I got a ticket, went to court, the judge sent a bailiff out with me to my car to make sure the tint was off, and I got off with a warning. It's not as big of a deal as you think.
Most of the time, the only cops that have the equipment to even check your tint are the Highway Patrolmen. If you roll your windows down when you get pulled over, or have the sunroof shade open a lot (which lets light in) then you should be fine. You just have to find some place that will tint you at 20%.
Also, only the front windows have to be 35% I believe to abide by the law.

Ok... just read on a website that 32 was actually the legal limit before a judge threw the law out the window.
So... with that the case... i've only heard of 35 and 20. Is there one in between? I would like to get 20 becuase it just looks so sharp! But i guess i can live with somethign between 35-20.

Isn't it illegal to tint the front window? I thought you can only tint the window on the passenger's sides and the rear window.

LoveMyTSX is right leon, I was talking about the driver and passenger side front windows (not the windshield). The back seat windows and the rear window were 5% (which was really dark with the black interior I had as well).
You can get 20% and probably never have a problem with it Alin. I had mine done by some place over in Marietta. It was a little bit of a drive, but the lady that runs the place is pretty nice to look at, and they were nice and did a thorough job. I'll see if I can't find their website.
