For those in Long Island, NY
I looked through the Hondata site and found that there are no dealers in the Long Island area. The closest dealers are located in Queens. Someone I know is trying to gauge interest in the need for a local Hondata dealer.
He'd like to know if there are enough local TSX'ers that would be interested in this service - mainly for the purpose of the reflashes and Hondata IMG. With the upcoming release of the 06' reflash, I'm definitely purchasing this mod.
I'd like to try to help the local members out and save a trip further west. For those members who have payment ready & in hand, shoot me a PM so that maybe we can get this moving a little faster.

can anyone recommend one in queens?
i did a quick search, and the only ones i saw are:
RPM NYC in Queens Village
Synapse Contact in Charlton, NY (where ever that is)
Drag Racing Technologies in Woodside
I emaled RPM and synapse, the RPM email came back with an error, so i'll try calling them to get the OTD price for the install of the reflash for 2005 TSX MT.

What would you be doing as a Hondata dealer? Would you be handling the actual installing of the intake gaskets and also the removal and shipping of components for the reflash? Or would you just be handling the mailing of components for the reflash?
I ask because you can go through any current Hondata dealer to get the reflash done since usually all they do is send or email you the appropriate shipping labels.
So what are you seeking to provide by becoming a Hondata dealer?

The interest is not for me personally to become a dealer. A local shop who is considering this can intall the IMG's and handle the mailing of components for the reflash. I don't think they would offer removal of reflash components since they do not like leaving cars in their shop overnight or even for a few days in this case.
As someone said in a previous post, certain shops who are currently Hondata dealers in our area have a reputation of being on the shady side - I would have my doubts about doing any business with them myself.

Well, I only bring up the reflash and IMG install since thats really the only services available and pertinent to this forum and TSX owners.
Obviously there are much more services that he can possibly offer to the numerous Integra B-series motors and RSX's K20 motors.
