New house, new ride... congrats, Omar! That's a great ride to move into --- we'll miss you here, so make sure you stop back from time to time.

Not really saving any money. At one point, I decided that if I kept the TSX it would have cost me a lot of money. It was a lease and I had already put 24,000 miles on her in one year. Calculate the 15 cents per mile overages and I would have needed to pay up the bung-hole at the end of the lease.

So what I did was I took the money that I was saving up to pay off the mileage overages and used that as a down payment on the Legacy. I realized after leasing the TSX that: 1) with my job and the amount of miles I drive, I can't lease a vehicle; and 2) I felt the TSX was a great car, but underpowered even with mods. So this time around I chose to buy. Not really saving any money, just managing it a bit better (less expensive dates, more Taco Bell dates, girls like that right? )

Thanks! That's actually my house in the background that you see. With SoCal home prices, I'm glad that I was able to secure a nice down-payment from some really nice relatives (read: parents, grandparents, uncles and aunts), only drawback is that I now have to have a guest room for them whenever they're in the States, which I think is a great tradeoff!

And I'll never leave Acurazine, you guys have made this like a 2nd home to me.

I won't get rims without lowering the car first. I got coilovers.

There are several to choose from....like Bilstein, H&R, Stassis, KW, TEIN, etc. In the end, I went with TEIN again. Bilstein and Stassis are nice, but too expensive. H&R's price is pretty good, but the dampers are non-adjustable. So I was debating between the KW V2 and TEIN SS. I wanted KW V2, but TEIN SS is still cheaper and I know the quality of TEIN.

Your new place is in Diamond Bar, right? I notice that Dennis is also in Diamond Bar, and I'm in West Covina. The 3 of us should hang out, have dinner or something. We can do Taco Bell dinner.

Haha sounds like fun! But then I can't bring the girl because I can only afford a Taco Bell Dinner for one. When I go out on dates, only one of us eats.

Ya CG and DJDZ I moved to Diamond Bar about 2 weekends ago. That's where I bought my new home. I'm off Golden Springs Blvd, really close to Temple.

You guys are really close. Before I bought my place in West Covina, I almost bought a condo at the corner of Golden Springs and Sylvan Glen. I guess someone offered a bit higher than me.

That's so near where Dennis lives. He's like up 1 street. And then I'm up 1 street off of him.

I almost forgot as well. For any SoCal'ers still reading this thread, I can get you car and homeowners insurance through State Farm. If you're interested, send me a PM and I'll let you know the details! Vwong and DJDZ of course this applies to you, and I can also do your condo owner's insurance and combine them both with auto to get you better savings!

Don't change your number anytime in the next few years, Omar. I'm gonna hit you up to handle my insurance when I go back to California in few years.

congrats on the new car, the legacy gt is definitely a good one.

So sad to see your simple yet one of a kind TSX go though.

Did you ever consider getting a comptech supercharger before making the swap?

Thanks for the comments, and I did think about the supercharger briefly, but then I figured that 1) there'd be more room for power in the Legacy, and 2) AWD handles power to the wheels better than FWD.
