Switchblade key unlock doesnt work
1.) I recently bought the switchblade key, and got it cut, unfortunately, it was cut a little off, or my slot is a little worn out so it takes a little to start my car with it. He said something about it being like 1/64th of an inch off or something like that. Is there anything I can do about this?
2.) I sat outside in 102+ weather trying to program my buttons on my switchblade, unfortunately, the unlock button will not work! What do I do about this? Is it the remote or my car? I have an 04 Acura, so I was curious as to if it has anything to do with the memory part of the remote.

too late.
the fix was to read the instructions on the site before having it cut.
you were supposed to print out some instructions and bring them with
you when you had the key cut.
it cannot be cut like a normal key, from the tip, it's not the right size.
it has to be cut from the backstop, as shown in the directions.
nothing you can do now but buy a new key.
EDIT:
apparently you didn't read any instructions.
there's instuctions for programming the key fob as well on the site.
it tells you what to do to shut off the memory function so it works properly.
go to flbusa.com and read the instructions.

I actually did read the instructions, and printed out the key info and programming and he did cut it from the back, I watched him do it.
We actually sat there for a while trying to get the remote to work, but thanks, i'm not ignorant. I do use resources.
We figured out today its the key, its been used too much, so the grooves are worn out a bit ,thats why it was off a little bit. But we managed to adjust it a little bit and get it working.
And all for free!
But thanks anyways.
