I think the differences between the two are almost unnoticeable in both ride quality and in height. I wouldn't waste the time personally.

I have the aspec currently, just interested in dropping a tiny bit more (similar to many who got the aspec), and if I throw in slightly lower springs it would look better.....and since the shocks of the aspec is stiffer and lower than the OEM it should hold up well (since some throw lowering springs on OEM setup and say its good), just interested in opinions, dont want my ride to be awful

it would just be cheaper than selling the used aspec set and buying a tein SS (1000$) or tanabe (around 800-900$) by buying 200 dollar springs if it is good ride quality...

no one knows how close the aspec shocks/struts are to, for example, koni blues that people pair with, and love, the tein S techs all the time...??

Don't remember where I got this from but looking at this list the ASpec spring rates and H Tech's are very close so they would have similar ride quality.

A-SPEC - 308F/193R
Comptech 110-155 - 315F/170R
Eibach Pro-kit - (1)308F/131R (2)371F/217R
Neuspeed Sport Spring - (1)?F/?R (2)365F/200R
Tein H. Tech - 320F/190R
Tanabe Sustec - 447F/224R
TEIN Basic and SS - 559F/336R
TEIN FLEX (JDM) - 559F/336R
Buddy Club - 672F/448R
TEIN FLEX (USDM) - 783F/448R
Tein Comfort Sport rates are 392/224
