Stuck in Mud - Safe Pushing Spots

Backed into a muddy field and got stuck in deep-shit mud earlier tonite

Had 2 guys pushing the TSX for me.
I inststed they push only the FRONT beams on either sides (FD open).

Is this right ? these are the safest spots to push like hell ?

Also my tires were smoking from the crazy friction . Could I have caused any damages to anything ?

And 2 guys had really to give it some good hee-hos.

I've never heard of a car being damaged from someone pushing it. I guess it's possible to push the rear bumper in if you push really hard with just your hands in one small spot. But, usually you get your whole body up against the car and heave and that spreads the force out over a wider area.

Have you had a car damaged from someone pushing it before?

My friend slid off a mountain road and dropped a wheel into a gutter in the snow. I had to push him back onto the road, but did it on his fender and it popped in, leaving a dimple!! he was a little pissed, but he was the one who slid. I'd suggest don't press on anything metal if you can avoid it.
