Red face Speed warning on Accord Euro 2006 Lux

Hi all,

Noob to this forum and to the Accord Euro (Accura TSX)... so bear with me

I've recently purchased my Accord Euro 2006 Luxury, and what a car!!!

Just had a simple question/ problem:

When looking through the car manual, it states that you can setup and/ or change settings for speed warnings (ie. beeps when over say 60km/hr) by pressing and holding the info button... and it should be in the menu straight away..

I don't have this coming up for some reason... can only change language and other settings bar the speed warning (not under any settings when going through them all)

There must be a reason it's not there... or not caring about the reason, a way to get into and setting it up anyway!!!

Thought i'd try and post here before going back to the dealer and asking them...

Thanks in advance

^My 89 Probe had it. It was part of some technology/computer package. It provided more info than my TL's MID could hope to have. 89 Ford MID > 04 Acura MID FTL.

John, try posting your question here:

That would be cool if a tsx could do this but it's most likely just for the euro accord (like the power folding mirrors)

Welcome to the board! You'll find there are a lot of helpful members on the board and a lot of useful information. And regarding your question specifically, since it is about the TSX, I'm more inclined to believe that you'll receive a better response from the TSX forum so I will move your thread over to the first gen TSX sub-forum.

I hope you find the answer you are looking for.

Thanks all for the replies...

Sorry for posting it in the wrong section! *eek*

Surprised not many of you had ever heard of such a thing!

Yes, simply put it's just a chime that sounds when you go over the speed you've designated... I'm from Australia, meaning lots of police just waiting for you to go 5km over!!!

Hope someone might be able to point me to setup this function

Cheers

Long live the euro....

Hi,
Another Newbie - from New Zealand.
As already determined here - the Accura is labelled the Euro in most all parts other than The States. Cheers.
