Soundgate SNHOND3 question
I heard somewhere that the SNHOND3 doesn't work on the 05 tsx because of the factory installed xm radio, tell me this isn't true.

Yes, you will lose your XM capabilities since the SHOND3 uses the same frequency as XM.
If you want to keep XM and have RCA capabilities for an MP3, Ipod, DVD, ... you can purchase the following...
X3 and X3-HON03 from PIE

So, I've got one that I'm not sure has been covered before. Say I want to connect my XM Commander and an Ipod to my '04(w/o factory XM of course). Is there a way to do this and still be able to control the XM via the steering wheel controls, or am I going to have to use straight ipod controls via an RCA connection?
I know that using a switch and conecting them both via RCA is possible, but I would really love to have ipod control through an icruze or similar product.
Thanks!

This may be the answer:

It's the same product as above, but their description seems to be better. I think it could work if you think about it, but my issue is my CD changer just shit the bed and it looks like this may not work if the CD changer dosn't work. The headunit works fine, but no CD changer
I'm at 85K miles too, so no go on warranty.
BTW in case anyone was wondering...the dealer can't replace the CD changer, they have to replace the whole headunit and it's $1300 in a non-navi

If you go this route, do you still need the HON03-F/MM if you have Nav?

If you can at least get into CD mode, then you should be able to get into CD-C mode. That's all you need to be able to use the SNHOND3 or any of the other adapters give you RCA inputs.

How does this work? On an 05 with XM does the Nav sound come through no matter what input you are on or is it only if you are connected to the xm input?
