Dammit...I was waxign it today and after buffing i notice a spot that owuldn't buff to a mirror...upon further inspection....its a 2x2 cm square of a door scratch....probably from a door dinging into it...how can i get rid of this? Is orbital buffer seem like the only hope right now?

 

Is there paint missing? Can you feel it with your fingernail?

 

It looks like lots of hairline scratches...Its not very deep, and it doesn't look like paint came off..

 

Try something gentle like Meg's Scratch-X... if its not through the clearcoat, this should help smooth out the hairline scratches and thus mostly eliminate the dull area. Follow with some good polymer sealant or whatever, and you should be good to go.

Remember, when trying to buff or polish, always try and do the job with the LEAST abraisive method possible before moving up. ie: never try to hammer in a tack with a sledgehammer when a finishing hammer will do.
