One other issue to keep in mind. The car show here is ESTREMELY crowded. I strongly advise that you do not plan on going during peak hours.

The times sound good to me. Sat. 10th after 12PM or later.
Tinky I will already be in LA that weekend so I will meet up with you guys in LA.
I can probably get 1 or 2 of you in with me free. Im going in as an employee of the show. I will grab an extra business card so one or two of you can try to sneak in with me. No promises though because I don't know how strict they will be with checking IDs and stuff.

USC is a 10 minute drive from the convention center - maybe not even that. So, if you want to get there by four, we should plan to leave our initial meeting area around 3:30.
The parking situation around here is as follows: USC has several large lots, but it might be hard for me to get permission for you guys to get on campus.
The is a larger shopping center across the road from USC (and a short drive from the convention center) that has lots of parking. I'm guessing that, if we meet there on Saturday, there will be plenty of room for us to gather.
There is also a large parking area that is open to the public where all the museums are here. That is also a very short drive to the convention center.
All of this is easy to find and I can arrive early and set up a meeting spot.
Thoughts?

I went to the show today. It wasn't that crowded at all (11-2). Acura had a lot of TSXs out there. There were a lot of hot girls walking around. All of them were with their boyfriends though.

Sorry I missed it (would I had been the only female?)...I was in Houston on business where I saw a CG near Minute Maid Park. (Would've waved but I was in a rental Mustang and the guy didn't look like the type to be on this forum anyways). However I did catch the show on the first weekend.
Any plans for another LA area meet?

Not to generalize but he was older (I shouldn't speak because I'm in the older age bracket) and didn't look to be a car enthusiast. To any Houstonians...if that was you, I send my apologies (along with my foot in my mouth).

About PM -- probably just superstition or delusion on our part, but we (the computer isn't mine alone!) choose not to do PM. One time when we tried it, it went wrong and (probably coincidentally) some of the computer's functions went spooey. So we're continuing to minimize the functions that we use on a forum. I feel a little silly about it, because I imagine there's no chance that PM would mess up anything.....but for now we're following that.

OK next OC meet.
Considering that last OC meet was literally in my backyard (I live near the Tustin Market Place) I should have been there but I was tied up with family stuff that day...
Should have been to the auto show with all of you but was sick with the flu..
