Me 3... Would like to see the sway bars... Also any data from comptech as to the increase in handling (performance)?
Just because you add a "larger" sway bar doesn't equal better performance.
I added a sway bar to my Toyota Tundra and it actually caused more problems... Made the rear-end to stiff that if I pushed it hard in a turn it brought the rear-end out much too easily causing for evasive correction to keep the truck from doing a 180...
Didn't like that.
Too me, the TSX seems to handle pretty well "out of the box"... Would like to see some numbers to show that the sway bar actually does improve handling...
Just my opinion...

In regards to if it will improve handling there are two things it will most definitely do.
1) decrease the amount of body roll.
2) cause it to understeer less.
If I can get it installed saturday I'll let you guys take it for a spin in the parking lot.

Mr. J's is also close by, if you'd like something to look at while you drink...

Updated Weather As of Saturday 11-8:
Mostly cloudy with a 30 percent chance of showers. Highs in the 60s.
So there's still a fair chance we will pull this off without rain.

As he said it is virtually kiddy corner from where we will be. Near Irvine Blvd and Jamboree. Not far at all.
We'll be meeting in front of the Black Angus. You will see it on the LEFT as you approach El Camino. We'll be meeting on the parking lot side which is visible from Jamboree as you approach El Camino. Since the former Ikea is empty there should be PLENTY of parking.
The site above has a map which will show you where everything is if you are still lost.
Also, I'll be unavailable on the web after Saturday evening as I will have to wake up pretty early to head up there and probably won't check the site before doing so.
If anyone needs to get a hold of me you can call my cell (760) 458-0562.
Looking forward to seein ya all.

Turnout was lower than we had hoped for the meet with the threat or rain and short notice but I want to thank Vincent, Evan and especially Steve for getting the meet together and coming out. It was great to meet you guys. Pictures will be up later thanks to vwongs fancy camera.
How would you guys feela bout getting something together at the same place in January?

The LA Auto show is early Jan or we can just meet up and hang. Maybe we should throw some dates out starting in December?
I wanted to say thanks to those who showed up also. Even though I was a bit quiet it was cool to meet all of you.
PS - Thanks for being my motorcade home Tinky

Sorry I missed it...
Hey guys
Sorry I missed it... Last minute family plans changed it for me. My little one wanted to go to the movies which was actually across the street from where you guys were...
The movie got out around 2:30PM so I figure you guys were gone already...
Perhaps next time...
Did you guys go for a cruise at all? Ortega Hwy would be nice, though during the day is usually filled with motorcyclists and can be dangerous... I generally go through their at night when there is a lot less traffic...

Finally I have time to get online.
It was nice to meet everyone yesterday. Although the turn out was low, but still good. I don't have my pictures uploaded yet, but they're pretty much the same as Corbon's pics. Anyone noticed our lineup? Corbon's black on one side plus my silver on the other end created 2 CG's (Steve's and Tinky's) in the middle.
Oh, I'll be in for the January/LA Auto Show meet. Depending on the date, I might be out of town in January for another show for my work.

it's a HUGE show. I've never been but always wanted to. Seems like a good excuse.

edit: Just checked the show dates for L.A. Auto Show. I'll be in Vegas during the weekdays for another show there. Hopefully I won't be there for the weekends. This year, I missed the L.A. Auto Show because I got sick in Vegas and had to be hospitalized, then had a surgery in Vegas and stayed there for one extra week. :'(

For those of us who live in Los Angeles, it wouldn't make sense to drive to San Diego first. I suggest we meet up here first.
I work a mile or so away from the convention center (at USC). There is a big lot across the street from here that would be a easy meeting place. Its 10 minutes from the convention center, and empty on weekends. There are also a few places to eat there.

live in Arizona, so regardless what we do, I still have alot of driving to do! But I agree with the USC parking lot idea, food and only 10 mins. to the convention center sounds good to me!
We are planning for the weekend, right? I'm not sure i can make a week day meet.

Well, if it is at all helpful, I'm willing to be the man on the ground. I can find the right parking lot, circulate directions, etc.
