Does anyone know of an ashtray/lighter package available for the TSX? I know in the manual it states that the outlet does not support a lighter but does anyone know different?

 

I don't think they offer an ashtray/lighter package. When I first got my 97 Prelude, Honda did offer such a package. The lighter was a replacement of the whole socket I believe because the outlet wouldn't work for a lighter. My guess is that they have dropped this completely.

 

To be honest I dont have an answer for you, but I would be surprised if they didnt offer an ashtray/lighter package. I would think there is more than enough demand for this.


EDIT: Ok just tried a little search and found this comparison on carsdirect. They show N/A for the TSX smokers package. The passat and jaguar have this option

No. Acura does NOT offer any type of smoker's package on the TSX. I know Honda has a smoker's package.
I guess the TSX is like sex. You have your cig. after you're finished!!

 

There is an ashtray that looks likes it fits in the cup holder (hard to tell from picture on Acura's website) shown as an RSX accessory as well as a lighter.

Do a "Build your vehicle" on Acura's website for the RSX and click through to the interior accessories page to see them.
