I don't know if the 06 power + hondata will be enough to compensate your original reason for buying a truck. I'd consider something with more power.
Your original TSX was 6MT, right?

original was an auto but compared to the others cars i've been looking at the TSX should be fine power wise. i was actually considering an 06 civic coupe(non si) and it wasn't that bad. i love the V8 power but i hate filling up the tank and refuse to do so anymore.

Jlukja's new avatar is intimidating. No more off topic posts for me
Yeah...sorry to get off topic like that Joe. Welcome back man I drove an 06 AT loaner for a sec and it felt quicker than the 04 AT in stock form. More pep and I could feel the vtec kick in. A new 06 with a reflash and couple of mods sounds good. Go and test drive one for yourself of course. Coming from that V8 monster you might miss the torque, so make sure it's what you want.

In any case, capitalism is what it is, and allows our country to remain competitive. Profits are profits. Of course I am not thrilled to pay $3.50+ x17.1 gallons, but wouldn't have gotten the car without coming to terms that fuel prices are not static. We could have it much worse, and at $5/gallon, things will certainly change. That said, the fuel companies can run their businesses as their owners see fit.

oh yah and........... it's not ignorant to say oil companies are greedy.........., everyone knows how money is made and how businesses work......, the problem with oil companies is that they completely controle a enterprise that the whole lively-hood of the world is dependent on.... literaly......................., the mass burning of oil is resulting in extremely adverse environmental consequences........, and the fact that they wont let go off burning fossil fuels and develope another sustainable source of energy is imoral and A DETRIMENT TO ALL LIVING THINGS ON THIS PLANET........, JUST SO DAMN GREEDY....... HELL, NO ONE CARES IF THEY REAP THE BENIFITS OF A NEW ENERGY SOURCE........, JUST DO IT......make it....now

i'm looking for a more long term solution and i'm really more afraid of how bad prices are going to get. i'm sick of trading and the TSX is about the only car out now i'll be happy with keeping for awhile.

Other than a hybrid Accord, the TSX is pretty much going to give you the best fuel consumption for this size/price sedan. For me it was the best combination of looks/utility/sportiness/price/economy that I could find. With the BP troubles with the Alaska Pipeline I fear that I'm going to be paying $3.50 to $3.60 per gallon of 91 octane here in SoCal.

I remember you also, I actually replied to your post when you bought the RAM. You might want to try trading in your RAM for a TSX. I got a great trade-in on mine, but that was before gas went through the roof and people (who didn't need them) were still actually still buying big trucks and suv's. Good Luck!

well my 05 had bluetooth and sunroof and i may have use the sunroof twice, never used the bluetooth. leather is nice but it gets so hot in arkansas it sucks they don't have the ventilated seats to go along with the heat on the tsx.
