Should of waited...

Got my TSX in june, and now the 2005 has good extras. I don't need the XM, but I think all the other additions are kinda important. Oh well guess nothing I can do now.

TSX

* XM® Satellite Radio
* Heated Door Mirrors
* 4-way adjustable power passenger seat
* Steering wheel mounted audio and cruise control switches are now illuminated.

What do you guys think?

The MDX has a ton more options though, I think I might have to trade in my 03 MDX for an 05!

I think you can play the "should've, would've, could've" game until you're sick inside or you can be happy that you have two great cars.

None of these options make me regret getting the 04 (which I picked up 3 weeks ago). I wish I could afford the 05 RL though, that thing is

I could have waited for 05's as well, but I did not think that having a couple of new colours, XM radio, power passenger seat, and the illuminated steering wheel buttons was worth the extra $$ that the dealership would have wanted.

That would have deprived you of driving this fine automobile for, what, 4 or 5 months. Not worth it.

I mean, how often would you need heated door mirrors? The wheel controls you'll get used to sooner or later so you won't have to look down. Its YOUR TSX, don't let anyone drive it, and, if YOU are driving then what do you care that the passenger seat is power? :

According to the specs at acura.com and acuranews.com, the 04 and 05 TSXes weigh exactly the same: Manual=>3230 lbs, automatic=>3318 lbs

But to the Dailo i'd say getting the car early is the smart decision. Featues are always going to increase and prices are always going to drop, but nothing can replace the fun and enjoyment you get from your car today, at this moment.

Same weight? There has to be a mistake, unless they stripped something away somewhere.

Of all the new additions to the car, the only one I actually would care about would be the XM radio and that's something I can live without. I'm glad I got my car when I did and have enjoyed owning it since day one.

ahhh i kinda wish i waited to get the Illuminated Steering Controls, and power passenger side seat, but then again after having someone sit in my car everyday since i've had it, noone has even adjusted the passenger seat. As for the controls, i've already memorized their positions and don't even bother looking down at them for usage, but it does look better for other people to see.

But i don't think it was worth it to get no discount on the car. Bought my 04 in July.

... none of those features would be a selling point for me. I am still shopping for my new car, yet haven't decided. 2 Acuras, 1 Mazda, 1 Infiniti are on my list.
