The TSX is definitely family-friendly, and it's one of the very few 4-door sedans that you can still get with a 6MT (hopefully, that will still be true two years from now).
Two years from now there will be all kinds of different alternatives available, so don't worry about it now. I'd just enjoy the STi for the next few years and make the most of it. It must be a really fun car to drive!

The STi is my favorite car, and is definitely a blast to drive. I know plenty of guys that are married with kids, that still have a STi, and use it as their family car. Marriage or not with or without kids. It's your decision, but I'd say drive the STi of what it's worth, then if you really think the change is necessary, then do so and get the TSX. For now, enjoy the STi.

mmmmmm....
lmao. You got two year plus few more years (unless, you want to have a child right after your marriage). I say stick with STi for few more years and trade in for 08 tsx or something else. Its kind of early for yourself to do that. You will be very disappointed with performance on tsx compare to your STi.

That's a damn nice car. I'd keep it personally. As good as the TSX is, you'll get nowhere near the performance out of it as the STi. Just more refinement and comfort.
How stiff is the ride in your car?

Keep it. I had a 98 Gen 3 Integra throughout my daughters first 2 years and we were fine. The STi is a little bigger than that, so you'll be okay for the first kid. You can put the rearward facing seat in the middle. However if you have 2 kids, like I now have, putting a rearward facing seat behind the passenger seat will eat up space even in the TSX. I'm just lucky my wife is 5'2"...

I would do what everyone is suggesting and wait until your future wife actually has the child. I have an '05 TSX and my boyfriend has an '05 STi... and I get extremely bored driving my TSX, after I have been in his (even in just the passenger seat!).... 100HP+ difference & no turbo makes the TSX seem b-o-r-i-n-g.... don't get me wrong, I love my car and TSX interior > STi anyday
I may even trade in my TSX for a Leg GT spec. B

First of all, congrats on getting engaged!
I think I can see how driving 100 miles per day and having a fiance that's sick of the ride can make you want to give up the STi
The TSX will give you the refinement and comfort you want. You just have to make sure you will be okay with the huge power drop. Otherwise another car I'd suggest for you is the new Infinit G35.
I loved the TSX so much, nothing could make me smile more than it did. (tested E90 325i, IS 250, Legacy GT) Sometimes when you love something so much, only that one will do.

Addendum: For an even more comfortable ride, try the IS if you haven't already. Your fiance may like that one the best. My hubby doesn't like firm rides, so the TSX was still "very" firm to him, and IS was most palatable. It's a fine sports sedan.

You might consider a wagon when you have a child.
don't bother with those ugly small wheels. The car looks like a dork with those wheels, but if you can put bigger wheels and drop, it would look nice.
Since there is no TSX wagon in US, you might want to consider VWs, Audis, older IS/Altezza wagon.
But back to your original qs, depending on what you really want. Since I always like the look of the TSX, I probably would trade it in. Hoping, can get the TL down the road. However, stick with your STi is not a bad idea at all...since it's also a hot car.
Good luck...

To the OP, good luck with marriage and a baby at 21... You must be very organized and/or good at identifying what you want. I can barely handle it all at 36.
