Question Should I buy the acura care plan?

I have a late 2005 TSX auto with no navigation with about 48K miles on it. I have about 6 month left to the 5 years waranty left + I have the CPO waranty for another year. I haven't got any problem with my tsx other than change the brakes on it. Reading the treads, I'm kind of scared of something happening with the a/c or the door actuator and tranny. Should I buy the Acura Care plan for another 2 years or should I just stick with what I have now as warranty and hope to be lucky. Now I plan to keep the car for another 2 or 3 years and I don't know if it worth it.

Thanks for helping

Most of those problems seem to be with the 04's.
My 06 tsx has had no problems (knock-on-wood) with 100,000+miles.

I still sure there is some problem with the 05. Anyone got costly repair done to their 05? Tranny issues, a/c, actuator... that could help me make my mind. Acura are charging me something like $1200 for a full coverage warranty for 2 years.

thanks

I have almost 119K miles on my 05 AT (5 years old this month). I did have one actuator and the battery replaced over 3 years ago and those were covered under warranty. Those are pretty much the only warranty items of any consequence since new. I did buy the 6 yr/100K extended warranty at purchase (when new)(and has since expired) and it was used to cover a couple of little things, but only because it was there; otherwise they would have just been maintenance items. I kind of doubt it's worth it to you at this late date, especially since you don't seem to put too many miles on the car. I only got it because I new we'd be putting allot of miles on the car, and though we certainly didn't get out money back on it, I would buy it again automatically.

I would buy the warranty
My Transmission went out at 96,000 miles
CPO warranty covered every penny
Replaced Transmission and Torque convertor and 3 new motor mounts.

I did not buy the extended warranty when my 06 tsx was new. If I did, I would be getting the full amount back as I would not have used it. (100,000 miles)When I had it on my 05 honda civic, I was told not to use it for small problems or that would stop the full refund.
