Shopping for an 05-06 TSX

hello TSX crew... i rarely come in here but my friend is in the market for a car and i suggested a TSX to her... she test drove one and loves it...

I found one 06 CPO w/ 7yr 100k miles warranty, Auto non-nav with 27k miles asking $20.8k... from the pics the car looks clean. we plan to test drive it this week...

is that a good deal? do you think i got a shot at $19.5k - $20k OTD?

go to KBB.com and check the value of "private party value" of the used car. go thru the used car section and plug in all the right info choose "private party value" (because the other 2 options would give you an inflated/deflated value of the car)

thats what I do when i go car shopping. Also if you go to the dealers directly without checking online to see the listing price online. they'll mark that sticker price up about $2,000 at least. I personally went thru this and don't want others to get scammed. ='(

(example: listing price on cars.com for that specific car is $19,995 - but because i didn't check out that car beforehand the sticker price says $22,3XX something like that)

That's way too much for that car. If it had nav, it would still be too much. For that car, I wouldn't go over 18.5. Actually, it's an auto so I wouldn't go for it at all, but that's a different story.
