Whats the best way?

we've used DAS (Dependable auto shippers) to send the car from NY to FL before. But the only gripe about that is that tis going to take like nearly 3 weeks.

Comparable pricess I've seen were around $900

Can anyone recommend a company?

Also, how long is the drive from Tex to South florida? I remember reading some place some sort of ferry or something that goes from texas to FL, has anyone ever heard of that? If so, where can i get further Information on it? If not, whats the average hr drive from Tex to FL?

Dependable Auto Shippers is anything but what their namesake implies. They gave me a quote for 3 weeks to take my car from Pittsburgh, PA to San Francisco, CA. It took them double the time and cost me in car rental fees. The car stayed in Pittsburgh for 5 WEEKS, collecting dust, before it even got on a truck to come to SF.
Do yourself the favor and take the road trip. Never again am I shipping cars/furniture. Just grabbing a U-Haul and doing it all myself. Shipping companies suck.
