SF Bay Area clearbra recommendation 2006?

I searched Clear Bra and found a little that was a bit not up to date for the SF Bay Area. So I am refreshing the info (actually someone else will)

Any recommendations for Clearbra or alternative film protection installers in Peninsula / south bay / San Francisco area for a TSX?

Tanks

Brian of Central Valley ClearBra did a great job on my TSX. He's located in Tracy, CA. I paid $535 for my clear bra and am very satisfied with the job. He used to frequent these forums as he used to have a TSX.

Tracy is closer than the only source I could find back when I was considering this - I was actually planning a trip to Roseville based on the recommendation of a friend. Good luck with this. I'm amazed that there aren't more bay area installers.

^ yeah, especially with the rock strewn HWY 101 (my commute).
thanks for the replies so far, though Tracy and Roseville is a bit of a drive. gotta be someone nearby.

I found a daniel cook with Transparentbra.com, and he is mobile but I'm not sure where he is out of, but I'll ask soon.

Another installer with excellent references in the Bay area.

Although no longer based in this area (and now in the Bay area), I have used Daniel Cook of Transparent Bra.com for two cars now. One an 04 350Z Track and for an 04 TL. Daniel did a great job on both and seemed to be a perfectionist of his craft. He's so easy to work with and will try and help with anything that may come up.

I had some trouble with the clear bra material on the TL and he flew down from the bay area and worked on my car for a few hours in my parking lot at work. That's what I call service!!!

Once I get my next car, he will be the person I call for a reference or for the install itself.

^^ StuE, great background info on Daniel Cook. I would need a less dusty parking lot though for him to do the install.

My brother just had this company do the clearbra on his IS350. He lives in Fremont. They show up to your place. I think the cost was about $700, but they are known for doing excellent jobs and do exotic cars all the time.

Cool Mokiavelli....another SF Bay clearbra source. they handle Jets too!!! Thanks.

I have been in contact with Transparent Bra's Daniel Cook. They are mobile and handle Northbay, Eastbay, SF, Peninsula and Southbay. They are based in the Northbay.

Quote for 06 TSX is ~$615 for all bumper frt + part side wrap, 1/3 hood, Headlights and mirrors. (04/06)

Venture Shield is the film I install. It's clearer than 3M's "Clear bra" 3M Has a yellowish tint to it. Venture shield is clear.

You should be able to find a dealer here... www.ventureshield.com or www.invisiblepatterns.com

I just installed one on my TSx and you can't even tell it's on.

FYI... Got quotes back from both. Am strongly leaning toward transparentbra. Less expensive, mobile service throughout the bay area, and the owner seems like a great fellow.

I appreciate the leads! It had been a while since I looked for a vendor and this thread made the process very easy.
