Which sexy color to get?
Test drove a 2007 Navi AT today.
I was very impressed how quiet the car was and snappy off the stop lights. One thing I noticed about the brakes was they didn't seem to clamp down as quickly as my accord when stopping hard from 45, even if the dealer didn't like this I will have to retest this with some highway driving if I choose to make an offer. Also, the navigation was impressive, it could understand me on every command but "air cond on" for some reason you have to say the whole word "air conditioning on" plus the chickey-poo voice in the Navi is pretty cool too. Finally, people say this car has a big turning radius, I did a U'y in a 2x2 lane street and I didn't have any problems, the only problem seemed to be when turning right out of a driveway to a street, the rear right tire would jump the curb but maybe I cut turns too sharp, I will have to retest this too.
I intend to test drive the new 2007 VW GTI MKV tomorrow probably AT w/DSG. If that car is pan hard in the ride and has road noise like my accord then the TSX will be my new baby.
However, the only problem I have is choosing which color to get. Here is my scale from most sexy to sexy plain:
Sexiest -> somewhat sexy -> plain sexy
Carbon Grey Pearl -> Black - > Silver
I didn't think I would want CGP but that color is so nice, black is also nice, but silver is kind of my tradition since it is the color of my current accord and my old 1994 Hyundai Elantra(RIP).
So what do you guys think CGP, Black, or Silver?

Depends, if you are like me. I don't want a color that is always seen or that everybody else has. So, no for CGP. Silver can get boring after a while but is a nice color for maintainance. Black is always a sexy color on almost any car, but as mentioned above does get dirty easily. I myself have the RBP, which is not seen on the road as offten and have had endless compliments on the color choice. It really is an awsome color!!!

I am biased towards CGP because I own one. Yes the color is common, however if you change up the rims and exterior a little, you won't look like every other stock CGP. Pick what you can look at every day. Black is sexy yet looks dirty quick and one bad waxing and hello swirl marks. Silver seems boring yet can look good when spruced up a little. CGP might be common and that is because Honda/Acura knows how much people love the color. Pick what you like and live with it...for a while anyways.

I love the CGP because like said earlier, the color changes depending on how the sun hits it. It can change from a light gray to a dark grey to a blue-ish gray all in a matter of seconds...pure 100 percent sexy...

I owned a SSM and now have an 06 ASM (silver) so i am obviously biased but i would go with both ASM or CGP over black!
Good luck with your decision!

If you want sexy, go with black. However, black is the hardest color to keep clean and it shows swirls very easily. But, when washed, polished, and waxed.....
I'm partial to my PWP.

I agree, CGP looks amazing during the day and looks even better at night. I'd say it is one of the more noticeable colors too.

I originally wanted silver or red with ebony interior as my 1st choices. The final decision was up to my wife because it was her car and she wanted carbon pearl gray with quartz. I was a little disappointed at first; but now, I could not be happier with CGP.
CGP because chicks dig it. Do you want your car to be a chick magnet or a dick magnet?

MR/Ebony is sexy as hell in a sporty race car kind of way, but CGP is more sexy in a professional upscale kinda way. But just like the saabs I think MR is hott on the TSX so its a great choice. Only reason I wen't cgp is bc the only MR they had was parchment which is definitely sexiness outside, but buick-y inside lol.

Red is actually the most "passionate" looking color on the TSX. Almost italian looking.
But sure, I don't mind driving the sexiest color by your definition.

I'm very new to the TSX scene and didn't realize how popular CGP is until I saw everone and his mother driving one where I live.
Its cool though. If I'd gone with a different color I'd probably be jealous when I was frequently subjected to CGP sightings on my commute.
If I'd gone with another color it would have been one of the blues. Lucky for me my wife hates cars that or blue or white so my decision making process was easier.

We also have polls
For those members who are fairly new, we've had a number of polls on exterior color choice. Here are four.
Color Poll: What Color is your TSX?
What Color do you own / plan to own?
What color TSX do you like best?
Poll: What color is your TSX?
If you haven't voted ... vote.

Personally I would want the TSX in the Acura Pearly Blue with a white or beige interior. I currently have the 07 in Black/black but thats only cuz its the family car. If that were not the situation I would of went with my desired colors and installed a computech exhaust sytems, turbo system, honda accord euro body kit, rims, and spoilers left and right.

PWP, CGP, NBP, ABP, MR , well all the colors are hawt, but those are my favorite
in order.
Almost forgot, only get ebony interior. Then others get some weird markings after time and look weird.

I think I am going with either silver or CGP. On the drive home today I spotted two CGPs in a row:
1. in my work's parking garage
2. in the adjacent apt. complex parking lot
I'll just have to do a couple of walk arounds of both colors when I do my highway test drive.

RBP=more exclusive
but you know, I've always felt that arguing an opinion in threads like these in any online forums turns into beating a dead horse once the person kinda decides what they want.
When I got my tsx, it was a tough choice between CGP and RBP, but I figured gray is a little too plain for my tastes, and it was also the color of my old car and I wanted something new. It's a gorgeous color, though.
