I went to the gym yesterday and when I got out and started up my car, it asked for the security code for my nav. I found the code in my owners manual, but the book said that the only reason that the security code would need to be entered on startup is if the battery got disconnected but I was just in and out of the gym... not disconnecting batteries. Anyone have a problem like this before?

 

I have an '06 Navi and have had this happen to me once, when I got into my car to go home after work. It happened a week after I took delivery of the car. It caught me off-guard, since obviously my battery wasn't (knowingly) disconnected.

It hasn't happened since, though.

Happened to me once too. I've had a 2006 Navi for 4.5 months now.
