Seat covers for pets
Just recently got my CGP/qrtz 6sp non navi and so far, it has exceeded my expectations (after alot of research and review, & reading both postive & negative comments on this website, etc). Anyway, between my girlfriend and myself, we have 3 rather large dogs, and the majority of the time, we use her pathfinder as the dog taxi, but occasionally, I end up transporting them in my car (used to own an accord). The Accord had cloth interior and I simply used beach towels to keep them from messing up the interior, but this system does not work very well with leather (towels slide, untuck easily, etc). I have been shopping for pet seat covers but am not real happy with what I have seen at Petsmart and even online (alot of work to get the covers in place, fitting issues, etc.) I do not plan on leaving the covers in full time, I only want protection when I occasionally end up hauling the k9s somewhere. Any suggestions/ideas?
By the way, not much on search option, so don't blast me for not searching first (been there). I also am aware that the TSX is a sport sedan, not a utility vehicle, but my situation dicates the occasional dog taxi function.
Thanks-

Hmmm I don't think has been brought up before and its a good topic. I have a Min Pin, seen here <------------- and I'm always loading him in the TSX. Thats the nice thing about leather, easy to clean and vacumn, The only worry that I have is if he rips the leather with his nails.
What I might suggest is to continue using those beach towels. Pull down the rear seats, place down the towels down but make sure the top 5 or so inches remain over the top of the seats so that when you fold them back up to lock them in, the towel remains locked as well. This way, they can be pulled down. You'll also have to make sure they're long enough to cover the seats. I'd use maybe 4 towels so even if they're moved there's plenty to go around.

good idea about pulling seats down, I will try that to see if that helps hold towels in place. I did tuck in a beach towel before pulling seats down, but the dogs are big and move around alot when I first load them in, and they easily untucked it.
thanks
