Scratch/Tear in Leather
Scratch/Tear in Leather
I was moving things between Georgia and Tennessee earlier this week and decided to move my mini-refrigerator home. The only place where it fit in the car was lying on the backseat so that's where I put it and in the process of getting it out of the car once I got home, I accidentally swiped part of the seat and left 2 small scratches (equivalent to a small door ding) and 1 line scratch in the back seat upholstery.
I'd love to repair it before it gets worse/bigger, but should I attempt a DIY kit or pay someone to do it? And if I take it to a professional, how do I find one? Do I just go back to the dealer? Does anyone have any estimates on cost?
Honestly, it looks pretty minimal, but I'm just worried that it'll get bigger and cost more to repair later as the miles (I'm at 47,500 currently) roll on by as I plan on hanging onto the car until I hit 150,000 at least.
