Don't buy it man. I would not get any salvage car that was hit in the front, alignment issues and suspension problems. It seems real sketchy to me and I live in the Sacramento area and I know these cars are floating around trying to get sold even on eBay. Also there is no protection and you can't get financed you need to drop cash. Also I don't want to imply anything, but if you call them and they have Eastern European accent -- beware! A lot of these groups are buying wrecked cars and trying to sell them for a quick return, they are not into repairing for long term.

If you plan to keep it for the life of the car, why not if it runs smoothly.

Look at the pictures of the rims; one is missing a nut

I wonder what else they missed out on putting this wreck back together

I'll pass, thank you

So, let me get this straight. If you own a vehicle that is under factory warranty and get into a wreck, your warranty becomes VOID? I never knew this

No, just if it's bad enough that it has a salvaged title. Actually, I think the car has to be totaled, then repaired, I think. At any rate, it's more than just your average fender bender.

I have carfax and thats what it gave me as information.... It was a corporate fleet vehicle that was owned in Michigan and Kentucky..

Original manufacturer warranty likely voided by manufacturer after vehicle was severely damaged.

I still have carfax for about 2 more weeks if anyone wants me to run any VIN's

The accident more than likely will not void the entire warranty. If the repair job and/or replacement parts cause other items to fail on the TSX. The dealership might have the option to decline repairing under warranty because a faulty Acura/Honda part wasn't the original cause; but, the accident and the repair job.

You probably could take the Salvage title TSX to the dealership for warranty work until the 4yr/50K expires. But I would not tell Acura a thing about the accident, let them discover the problem(s) on their own.

Keep in mind, no Bank will finance a salvage title. You will have to put up a lot of cash for the car and your resell value will always be 1/3 to 1/2 lower than a similar year/make TSX.

if that is your price range in a tsx, i say keep looking. I mean you won't find a low mileage one but you'll find one that is decent. It took me 4 months till I found a nice tsx in my range 14-17K and I did find one at my local Honda Dealer.

We all know Honda's last forever with the right maintenance even with 200K on the clock

Salvaged vehicles are not a good thing to own. You will never be able to sell it at the prices that similarly equipped vehicles are sold. You should only consider a salvaged vehicle if:

1. You will never get rid of the car, and the area that was damaged doesn't impact the driveability of the car (like the frame was straightened out to nearly straight)
2. You have a similar car, and you want it for parts (like a prelude's H22a into a 1990-1993 hond accord).
3. You can't afford the new/used car of your dreams, so you go for a salvaged vehicle which is discounted.
4. The salvaged vehicle isn't repaired, but you're willing to repair it and bring it to normal (rebuildable salvage title). The vehicle is discounted much more than the cost of repairing it would be.

The listing appears to be someone who did #4 and is trying to sell it to make a profit. Kinda like that show on tv called "flip that house" or something. Basically they buy a house that's in poor shape (and thus cheaper than the other houses in the neighborhood), flip it (repair it), and then sell it at the cost that houses in the neighborhood are selling for.
