S2k owner, just bought TSX, Hi!
Hey guys,
I'm new to the forums and wanted to say hello.
I currently drive an 04 supercharged S2000 (supercharged for 1.5 months, loving the boost). I've been dailying it for over a year, and prior to this s2000, I drove a silver 2001 S2000 for a year. Before that, I had a few e36 BMWs. I had planned on picking up a daily car towards the end of the summer, but decided to do it sooner. I was considering a ~2003 3/5 series, A4, Mini Cooper S, etc etc, but the TSX was the complete package of what I wanted, and the Honda reliability really sealed the deal.
This past weekend, I checked out ~5 TSXs in my area and finally settled on the perfect one. I put a deposit down on a 2005 Black on tan TSX, automatic, 57k miles. I'm hoping to pick the car up by Thursday (just waiting for my credit union to finalize everything and send the dealer the check.) The car is extremely clean, no problems at all.
I love manual transmissions, but I bought an automatic for a few reasons: 1. I often sit in bumper-to-bumper traffic in NJ (Driving my sc'd s2000 with a puck style clutch, in bumper to bumper traffic everyday after work, is not fun.)
2. I have my s2k when I want to manually shift gears.
3. Manual narrows my search down to ~10% of local vehicles.
4. My mom/dad may need to occasionally borrow the car.
I don't plan on modding the TSX at all. The only things I may do, would be lowering springs and a cheap set of wheels. Thule/Yakima roof rack for my bike/snowboard is coming soon.
Here's my 2004 Suzuka blue s2000.

Congrats. I've got a 2008 TSX as well as a 2005 suzuka blue s2k. What a coincidence! I love both vehicles to death...especially the TSX.
I feel like I'm the luckiest guy in the world to have both of these cars. I just couldn't be happier. I may sound crazy, but after buying the S2000, I've realized how much I appreciate the TSX as my daily driver. However, nothing comes close to the S2k when I feel the need for time on some twisty backroads!!! Welcome.

I was in the same shoes you were. I sit in bumper-to-bumper atlanta traffic twice a day, for 5 days a week in my S2K and it is not fun. Just picked up a 04 TSX last week. Much better now.
