Roadside Assistance Question

I may be taking a trip to Canada and was wondering about the roadside assistance/towing there and how much it would cost. Acura says they cover Canada, but what are there towing limitations? Do they always take it to the nearest Acura dealer?
The reason why is because my destination is 764 miles from the nearest Acura dealer, and 498 from a good repair shop that can do major repairs. (a simple repair shop is 312 miles at most). Yah I know it's kind of out there but it is a popular driving destination in Canada (unlimited speed limit with paved roads!) and safe to travel. People have made it in much worse vehicles!
Thanks

And, where might the nearest emergency medical care be found? Just in case. There are always hazards such as deer, blown tires, etc.

That is what would be on my mind as the speedometer climbed past 70 MPH. It is often on my mind, even in the mountains, since you can leave the road and not be seen for many days, or weeks. I think that GM has partially addressed such concerns -- hello, OnStar.

Can you disclose the route, or roads, to which you refer?

Geez, hope you have a GPS that can tell you the longitude and latitude if you need a rescue chopper.

They cover your tow truck expenses and they fix damages up to $100. Anything over comes outta your own pockets. Oh, and waiting for them to come isn't the most fun thing in the world.

There is a basic hospital 40 minutes away.

Wow! And, we thought $4.00 a gallon gasoline was expensive.

This looks like one clear example of where the journey is more important than the destination.

Thanks for the info.

You can get he current lat-long off the nav... something along the lines of 'display current location' via voice commands.

No, they're not going to tow it for free to any destination that you choose. They'll bring it to the nearest dealership.
