road salt and leather interior

Hello,

I was just wondering whether or not road salt will cause damage to the leather seats in the TSX? I live in Chicago, and I've been noticing a lot of salt on the bottom front portion of my seats recently. I immediately wipe them off, but I was just wondering if this would cause the leather to fade or anything? If anyone could let me know, that would be great!

Thanks!

It will dry the leather out if it's left on there. Just wipe it off as you have been and put some leather conditioner a couple times a year (some people do it far more frequently) and the seats will stay nice and supple.
