ride characteristics (is300 vs tsx)
just wondering if those who have ridden in both the is300 and the tsx feel that the ride in the is300 is smoother compared to the tsx. i recently rode in my friend's 2003 is300 and noticed that it seemed to take bumps in the road smoother. i know both cars have sport tuned suspensions. maybe the tsx has stiffer springs and/or more damping? these are just my observations. any comments are appreciated.

Just by looking at an IS300 taking an autocross course, it is softer. MUCH softer. The body of the car wiggle so much I thought it's going to spin anytime during the course. Also, the suspension got bottomed up at certain part of the course.
Yes, the IS300 rides smoother, but it's definitely not sport tuned (no matter what they say). Shocks and springs should be the first thing to swap out.
On the side, max lateral g-force recorded for IS300 is 0.78g while TSX is 0.85g
