Is this repairable?

So I was backed into a space and parked and a lady backed up without looking and hit it. Any idea of cost? Maybe even a total loss?

Looks like a rear quarter panel and probably the door skin (or if they can find a used door, might be cheaper to just paint it and replace the door). Sorry, you'll have to fix it.

Did you get the lady's insurance info? If someone else hits you and you got their insurance info, you don't need to worry about cost.

It's repairable. And you're pretty "lucky" that your car is black because quarter panel blending is often hard to pull off on other colors.

Like Simba says, it looks repairable by replacing the rear quarter and the door.

I always get 3 independent quotes and hold out until insurance agrees to pay the average of the 3 quotes in cash. Then I do the repairs myself (or not, if it's only cosmetic). Don't accept the first offer from the insurance or agree to get it repaired in their recommended shop.

Getting hit should always return you back to pre-loss condition, if not better.

Replace rear quarter? I'm sure you know the rear quarter is a huge piece that goes all the way to the front of the car. There's no replacing it.

What camera are you using??

And it is repairable. They will cut the rear quarter out and welding in the new one and replace the entire door likely, repair your old one and sell it again to someone else.

...all depending on your shop.

This is what I did to my car, it's a $3000 fix. Be prepared. Contact insurance and tell them what happened. Hopefully they right you a check for the repairs like they did for me (but I'm worse off in other ways)

The damage actually isn't all that bad. It can for sure be repaired, if that's your question. As far as how much will it cost- well, that all depends on where you're located- prices can vary all over the map.

As stated, I'd go around to a few body shops for pricing. Find out who the most trusted shops in your area are and as mentioned, DO NOT go with the shop your insurance company recommends to you. Those shops focus on high volume repairs, so they work fast and sometimes do shit work.

Yea guys it was repaired! turned out there was a bit of frame damage, all of it cost around 3000. Door skin was replaced and so was the side skirt. The dent was pulled out, bondoed, sanded, painted and it cost about $3000 dollars.
