Red Callipers

I just put new rims on my TSX that really show off the callipers... Has anyone put red callipers on their TSX??? Also have you bought new callipers or just painted the OEM callipers???

Don't give me shit about no pics, but I painted mine. I didn't do them in red. I did them in VHT silver. It looks a thousand times better than that gold-ish finish (especially on a SSM car). It took the better part of 3 hours to do it. I used 2 floor jacks and didn't remove the calipers. I just disconnected them, took out the pads, and wrapped EVERYTHING under there with paper grocery bags. Was it worth the 3 hours? That's hard to say, but at least it looks a little better.

mine are chipping slightly, I did mine in black just to hide them totally (red stands out way too much for me). I'm going to take them off entirely as I'm comfortable w/ removing the calipers now. ITs such a pain in the butt/waste of time to cover every and tape it all down in the wheel well.

Hmm, Didnt Take me 3 hours, I did the front ones first, just jacked the car up, popped the rims, loosened the calipers and used a shitload of Newspaper and Duct Tape, then sprayed it, took maybe an hour for the front, and then i did the Rear ones about a day later... I love the way it looks, esp at some high speed shots I have, all u can see is the red, so cool...

Any High Temp Paint should do the trick, mine arnt chipping or anything, just became a little dull, Im at School right now so I dont have the car otherwise Id take a look now, But honestly, I could probibly Just give them a really good cleaning, and they'd look 100x better... Personally I used some Engine Block Paint, got it at like AutoAid or one of those places Maybe, 10 dollars, Tops....

I'll most likely be painting my calipers as well. I did it on my Integra and it looked great! Definitely a nice visual mod.

I saw a pic of that, it looks sweet.

Of course you could just pony up $1700 for a Stoptech big brake kit.

I won't give you shit, but can you please post pics? I'm thinking of going silver myself.
