I searched but could not find any information.

I'm looking to add some sort of retractable sun shield for the rear window on my '05 TSX. (like how they have one some of the upscale Bimmers and Benzes)

One of the posts I found in my search mentioned that the Euro Accord may have had this feature as an option. So I'm hoping maybe someone knows of a place I can order this part and adapt it to my U.S.-spec TSX.
Or perhaps there is a company that makes a decent aftermarket model?


It sure has been hot out here in northern california lately (90's-100's). I sure could use some ammo against the sun. We're adding tint this weekend in our battle.

i know the inspire/tl has one but heeltoe tried the fitment on a TSX and it is too big...tints should solve your problem pretty much the same way though

That satisfies my curiosity (glad someone has actually tried it and posted results)

I'll just use the tint for protection and I'm sure that will be enough too. Good advice.

Btw, I'm sure this is very common knowledge, but if anyone is looking for a front windshield sunscreen, and they want the kind that you can fold into a small circle, Target has them for a cheap $9 in the Auto section. I tried the $30 one at the Acura dealership (the kind you roll up into a cylinder) and MAN was that a pain. I returned it within 3 minutes

The item you ordered looks very nice. But, like you, I don't want to drill into my car - so I'll stick with traditional tinting.
