I'm looking for a gabage can for my TSX... anyone know of a really good model? I used to have this one a long time ago that had these nice "legs" that wrapped around the hump between the seats so you could take corners fast... nothing like having your garbage spill out during spirited driving.

I looked in a few stores but all they have a is crap ones. Anyone know an on-line store where you can pick between a few models?

If you have enough garbage in your car to need a can you're doing way too many things in a car that should not be happening in a car.

my pants pocket and I'm sorry to admit that anything nasty goes out the window.

I've always got walmart or whatever plastic bags in my trunk... So I'll use one of those if necessary. Otherwise, it's either out the window (ie. a booger or anything else woodland creatures would eat ) or I'll just toss it on my winter rubber floor mats (99.5% of the time)

I was looking for one - the ones I had seen were just not good enough.
Then I found one in the car accessories section of a small Japanese dept store.
it's box-like, slightly bigger than a galon jug, not as tall. good blue plastic.
The top has 2 cup holder compartments and a slot for depositing trash.

It comes with a clip that clips onto the carpet & holds the box steady.
I find it very useful.

c'mon guys stop throwing trash outta window.

Around town there's rarely enough in my car to bother with. A napkin to go with my coffee or something, and that can just sit in the cupholder until I toss it. Maybe an empty water bottle which just goes on the floor until my next stop.

On road trips I just bring along a kitchen garbage bag and hook it on somewhere accessible. I suspect in the TSX I'll just place it on the back floor, hooked over the lumbar support lever so I can get at it.

I use a heavy plastic bag with a strap around the headrest. Has a little flap and everything. I found it at a Totes or Department store on special one day.

My car is like a national park: carry in - carry out.

I use the map pocket on the driver's door and then clean out at every fill-up.
Works very well!

I think you need to remember to throw shit out. Skip the garbage can.

Just have your passenger hold onto your used garbage.

NB- In my experience, this works better with a little brother than with a wife.

It's just for keeping the shit somewhere until I can throw it out. Like a dirty tissue, a banana peel, a wrapper or whatever. I don't throw stuff out the window unless it's something like an apple core into a field (in that case it's just returning to nature ). I don't want my cupholders to act as a temporary garbage can.

I was looking for one too but couldn't find one. At canadian tire they sell them with cupholders and everything attached, which I don't want (too big and ugly). I already have 4 nicely sized ones, I don't need more.

What I want is something that just holds garbage and a kleenex box. And that's it. Is that so hard to ask?
