Radley's Acura Damaged my Car again!

Pictures will be coming once I get time. I took my 06 TSX in to have the oil changed. I told the servie guy to be very careful with my baby. Low and behold on retutrned they damaged my front spoiler on the rack!. This is the 3rd time they have damged my car. I can't believe this. Sure they are going to take car of it, but I HATE this. Where is a good place to take a Acura for service in the DC meto Area.

sorry to hear about Radley messing up your ride..... Once again, yet another reason to steer clear of stealerships (unless it's warranty work)..... I bought my car at Pohanka but have never tried taking my car there, instead I take it to Pro-Imports in Rockville, MD (http://www.pro-imports.com).... I always took my modded GTI there and now the TSX... They're a great shop, honest, reliable and always baby your car!!! They work on a whole bunch of modded Audi, BMW, VW, Honda, Acura....

I only go to the dealership where I can see my car getting work done. I have only had 1 oil change so far. When I went there, I just stood right by my car as they do their work...making sure they put my Mobil 1 oil in the car and didn't try to wash my car after the oil change.

Definitely take your car to Pohanka. The problem with the Radley service bay is that it's so tight. Radley techs damaged my front lip and bent one of the lifting points on my car. After that, I never took my car back for service again. When you go to Pohanka, ask for Jayson McCullough, he's great

I've had nothing but positive experiences at Chevy Chase Acura. Sales and Support... they've checked my car out a few times without breaking anything or dirtying it up yet. And they don't seem to care about my mods.

I was there for my first oil change and it was to be no charge. I told them my mobil one was in the trunk. When they told me my car was ready,my oil was still in the trunK. I made them take the car back and put the mobil 1 in. They will have my new .aspect bumper monday morning.

dang, that is pretty bad! I take my car to Radley's all the time and they haven't had a problem getting it on the rack for an oil change (I thought they had a pit, but I never had a reason to question it)

I took my acrua to radley to have some work done. I will never again go there. First they didnt fix the problem i was having after I specifically told them waht was wrong with it. Second, they said they washed my car but when i got it back it was dirtier than when i brought it in. What kind of idiots wash your car and park it in the back where the roads are not paved and are dusty?!?! i have no idea. Anyways i dont know if some of you guys receive a survey in ur mail regarding your experience at the dealership but i got one regarding my experience at Radley. I gave everyone of the questions a 1 - worst service.

At Radley, the trick is to work with certain service managers. Some of the service managers don't give a rats ass about the customer's car. I have had solid experience with the guy I always leave my car with now.

He is so dedicated that, when I needed to have a wiper blade replaced because of it streaking, he had the part ordered under warranty and when it arrived, he offered to drive up to Silver Spring to install it on my car during his lunch break when I couldn't make it down to have it put on. Now that's dedication to the customer. Plus, he's never questioned anything I've done to my cars (this is my second TSX that he's taken care of for me).

You all are talking about Radley in Falls Church correct?

I bought mine down at their Woodbridge location -- anyone have any experience with the svc dept down there?

I looked at cars at the Falls Church Radley -- but I didnt like the way I was treated.

He's excellent and is very good about doing exactly as I ask. I tend to be very demanding of my service people and am very exact about the things I allow to be done to my car and he always makes sure that each little detail is noted and taken care of.

Don't go Chevy Chase Acura either I went there to do periodic maintenance. Good thing about the service was I had my car's oil changed for $$$. Then bad thing"s" were They made deep scratch on the roof of my car and dents on the back bumper. "you better not paint the scratch cuz if you not paint the whole roof, it should be ugly and we don't know about the dents on the bumper." ---> that's what they told me. So I got scratch and dents for my $$$

I take my 04 TSX there for everything. Only one time they forgot to call me and I just happened to call the showroom number and was able to pick my car up after the service dept closed. They are expanding too. I think they are giving the VW's their own side. All the people there have been very nice. My car is lowered some and I always bring my own oil and never have a problem.

From now on go to Pohanka and ask for Jerry Soriano. Every acura I've had, he's taken care of me. Took my old DC2 to him when I had to have the engine rebuilt, his mechanics did an excellent job.

I bought my tsx @ radley in woodbridge which is about 30 minutes away. I did every service there until about 20K miles.. I got a new job working for a toyota dealer and i just cant get it there in the AM for a loaner car. For warranty work I now take my car to Pohanka which i a good hour drive away. My main reason for going to Pohanka is their service hours. They're open 7-11(?) monday-sat and 12-5 sunday. Plus they have over 200 loaner cars, they always have one available. I get all oil changes etc done at Toyota..

Today I took my car in to Radley's and they put a new Aspec (sp) bumper on. I went to the general manger and told him of my experience. I was assured that this will never happen again. There will be a note in my jacket I and I was given the name of a service manager to see only. I am not sure if I will trust them again. To there credit, they did bend over backwards to get this this all worked out. The car is now good as new, and they all know MR West at Radleys and how picky his is about his car

Are you talking about Radley on Columbia Pike?

anyways i took my car in for the second time to getting something fixed. While i was waiting there, who i thought was a service rep asked for my name so he could cross my name out from the loaner's list. As soon as he hears my name he says "soo your the one that gave us a 30?" im like "30 for what" and he says 30% out of a 100% on the service survey. Later on i found out that he was the service manager and we talked for a good 15 minutes...In the end he told me that i should've came to him first rather than give such a low rating o nthe survey. I told him my experience i had at Radley sucked and straight up told him that i will not be coming back anymore.

so.. pohanka it is!.

What was his name? I had a guy who pulled one of those and he got chewed out for even mentioning it to a customer. They're not allowed to share their survey ratings so for him to have brought it up like that seems totally inappropriate.

I agree, that was extremely unprofessional to put you on the spot like that. That kind of treatment, alone, merits a low service score.

There has GOT to be some outside motivation. I've never seen or heard of service like that. Maybe you could give Cerritos Acura a call on my behalf?

I don't know why I get good service, but I am a very exacting and very demanding customer and he seems to recognize that and treats me accordingly. In return, I respect him and give him due credit for his excellent work. I really can't think of anything beyond just a mutual respect.

Here is my latest Radley Story. The first week that I had my TL I was out to dinner in Shirlington and watched the vallet drive my right front rim into the curb. The valled assumed assumed responsibility and asked me to get an estimate. I went to Radley and explained what happened, and they faxed over an estimate for a new rim to the Vallet service. About 2 weeks later I get a check from the valet service for $350.74 made out to Radley Acura. On Saturday after spending the morning detailing my car, I went to Radley with the check in hand to schedule an appointment. When I was there they said that that the rim could be easily repaired and that I would never know that the rim was ever damaged. She looked at the check and said not a problem that I could get a credit and use the ballence for something else. Last night I dropped off the car at 4:30 and was told that the car would be ready in a couple of hours, and was told to bring back the check when I pick up the car. A couple hours later I went to pick up the car, the rims looked great, I handed over the check to the service manager, and he told me that a check would be cut for me for the ballence in the next couple of days after the check clears.

This morning I notice that there is Grey Paint all over my Brembo front break. While in the Car about 2 minutes after I noticed the problem, I get a call From Radley demanding that I go and bring them a new check. Apparently while I was having dinner last night before I picked up the car, they had left a message on the phone stating that I could not use that check because it wasn't for the correct amount and that it would mess with accounting. The woman was very rude with me and said that I was informed before that I could not use that check, and demanded that I go there and pay up like I am some sort of dead beat. Anyone got some advice for me? I think that it would mess with accounting even more if that bill goes unpaid.
