Radio Controls: Auto Select

Aargh!!!

Has anyone else experienced this? I have the nav system and, on more than one occasion, I've accidentally touched the Auto Select button (I think that's what it says) on the radio controls screen, which resets all of my radio presets and chooses other channels for me. It's a great feature if you're going to be in an unfmailiar area for a while, but it's really frustrating to have to start from scratch if you accidentally touch/press it.

A confirmation prompt would be nice. Or, move it to the set up screen???

Mike

No fat fingers, here. It happens mostly when I'm driving and I'm reaching (while still watching the road) for the Map/Guide button and I accidentally hit the screen on my way down.

What about just using a voice command for the Map/Guide?

uhhhhhhhhhhh.... lol

Auto Select is a TOGGLE... it doesnt reset your presets.

It simply switches to the Auto Select channels on those buttons.

If you press Auto Select again.... VOILA... back to your original channel presets.

RTFM

Dude, if you press autoselect again, it goes back to your original presets.

Otherwise, it wouldn't be a very good feature!!!
