Radio Code

I am now out of town - the battery died - needed emergency fix - the shop did not save the memory when they pulled the old one. Now I need the code.

Questions:

1. Would TLC program give it to me on the phone? What's their Number?

2. Would a local dealer do it for free? I am in NJ now near Route 18, New Brunswick. I am still in the 4 year warranty period.

3. If TLC gives it to me on the phone what the procedure for enetering it?

I'm not too sure about the first two, but once you get your code you enter it using the volume knob. Left/Right to decrease/increase the number and push it in to select it. The numbers will show up on that little info dial on the top of the dash.

GL!

1. TCL would give it to you, but they'll need details (VIN, possibly info about the owner on the title, if not you)
2. Local dealer could do it too
3. Type in using your radio button (if non-Navi), read above if Navi

Look on the outside edge of your glove box. Some dealers put the codes there - 5 digit for radio, 4 digit for Nav
