question on wires and fuses

Here's what i'm thinking, correct me if i'm wrong...

I have some lights that I want to come on when I turn the car on. I have heard that you can do this buy pluging it into a fuse. I was thinking of using the sunroof fuse since it won't work when the car isn't on. Will that work?

Also, do i put both wires on the same fuse or how does that work?

you can either look in your manual for a detailed diagram stating which is which, or you can look inside the fuse case.

What kind of light exactly are you trying to install? I assume there is no switch for this light since you want it on when the car is on. If so, one wire should be hot and the other should be ground. You can connect the ground wire (usually black) to any unpainted metal. As for the hot wire (usually red), you can splice it to the "source" wire. BTW, I haven't checked the fuse box in my TSX yet, but from previous experience working on my Prelude, Integra, and my wife's Civic, there are about 4-5 empty slots in the fuse box. Each one of them will get power at different conditions. I remember that one will get power when you have your parking lights on; one will get power all the time; one will get power when the ignition is on; and I don't remember what the others are. If you have a test light, you can find the one that gets the power when the ignition is on, then connect your hot wire to this slot.
