Question for 'older' TSX's: Does the car get louder with time?
During the past 4th of July weekend, CarbonGrayEarl and I took a drive in his loaner TSX. Since both of us are owners of brand spanking-new TSXs, we immediately noticed some differences between the older loaner car and ours:
- Doors slammed louder when shut
- Much louder road noise
- More bumpy ride / suspension
There were only 7000 miles on the odometer. Considering the way people treat rental cars, it probaly has the equivalent of 30,000 miles. Even so, I couldn't help but ask, "Is this the way my car will feel after 30,000 miles?" Do parts eventually loosen up and bring me back down to my rough Integra days? I certainly hope not.
One possible explaination would be that the majority of folks who were granted loaners at Weir Canyon Acura were disgruntled at the stealer and took out their anger on the car. To make matters worse, the stealer hasn't maintained the car well.
I hope one of you 'vets' could chime in here.
