Question: Can the gas pedal be adjusted to be softer?
I believe a softer gas pedal will decrease the fatigue experienced by TSX's firm ride dramatically. I don't really use the cruise-control on the highway as it makes me sleepy, but I find that holding my foot on the gas pedal and constantly pressing it just to keep up with traffic is not that comfortable.
I know the TSXs are "drive-by-wire" cars, so there's no real acceleration-wire(like other cars).
Is there anyway to adjust the gas pedal so it feels a bit easier on the foot?
thanks

Did you actually test drive the car before you bought it? You've complained for a week straight about a ton of <rediculous> things it seems.

it's softer than my civic :shrugs:, that's what cruise control is for... if it puts you to sleep try doing something else to keep yourself awake..
i find with the pedal hinged at the bottom like it is in our cars, its actually WAAAY more comfortable than an old school pedal, i don't get fatigue at all...
have you tried adjusting your seat position?

Thanks for the replies guys. Well I don't neccessarily find it "HARD". I agree it's pretty smooth and soft compared to a BMW, but I find it a bit challenging to lax the spring under it. In city it's alright, but on the highway it requires a minimum amount of constant pressure that I'm not used to yet.
I drove a 99 Civic before this and that car didn't even have cruise-control, so don't blame me if I'm not used to using it!

Aside from the "you'll get used to it" line of thought (of which I subscribe) you might try moving your right foot's heal from side-to-side and change the "attack" angle. I find that this helps on longer trips at a constant speed.
Every new car I've ever had the gas pedal always felt "funny" until I stopped paying attention to it. Enjoy your new ride.

set cruise control and keep the foot on the pedal....the cruise control controlls hwo much the pedal is pushed down, so in essence you're making it "softer"....
