hey guys
i bought my TSX about 3 weeks ago and just recieved my license plate so i was happy. but for some reason my tag expires on may of this year! is that right? should'nt it expire next year?

 

In KY, regular plates expire in the month of your birthday. If your birthday is in May 2007 and you buy a car in December 2006, your registration is only good until the end of May 2007.

In IN, each month is assigned a "range" alphabetically. If your last name falls into the range for that month, your plate expires in that month on a certain date. Works just like KY except it goes by the alphabet instead of your birthday.

You should check AZ's Department of Transportation for more info specific to you.

in FL your plate expires in the month of your birth, but they pro-rate the registration charge if you are close to that month.

 

What the hell does one's birthday have to do with registering a car??? Here in CA registration is due the month you bought it in...simple...

 

MI is used to be by the month of your birthday too. VA, MA & TX are by the month you buy the car with a max of 2 years in VA & MA.

 

yea, i grew up in Los Angeles and it was just sooo simple... i just moved to AZ and its confusing sumtimes.
