Im currently driving a fully loaded 04 tsx in solid condition. Looking to trade it in for an 07 tl type s. What should i expect as far as trade in value and price on the tl?

 

There are a lot of websites to research these sorts of things (Edmunds, KBB, Autotrader, etc.), but since you asked here, there's a lot of information missing that is needed to put a value on a car:

How many miles? 5AT or 6MT? What color exterior/interior? By "fully loaded" I'm assuming you mean "has navigation", right? Does it have dealer options such as spoiler or fog lights? Does "solid condition" refer only to mechanical condition? How's the paint (fading, rock chips, major scratches), the interior vinyl and leather, etc.?

 

57k miles, 5AT,black leather interior, blue pearl exterior, navi, minor scratches. also tinted with rain guards

 

Same car & condition, CGP w/50K miles... just quoted $11,200 in trade on a 2007 CPO w/nav & 30K miles. They wanted $23,600 so I passed.

 

Edmunds says $12.1k trade-in value in clean condition, KBB $11.6k good condition. So Steve's estimate is pretty close to what you can expect, I should think.

A quick search for CPO TLs around here came up with Type-S models over $25k
